Hurricane Milton left us with temperatures under 80 degrees for the first time in months. We’ve been enjoying after dinner walks with the dogs almost every night and I’m loving it. The highlight of my day so far is cooking dinner, which honestly wasn’t that exciting. Ground beef and cumin mixed with brown rice and a Greek yogurt/cucumber mixture. It was good, but of course no one wanted the yogurt except me. I am so bored today.

I wish I could find the dial that controls emotions because mine are always turned up way too high. A walk around the block with the girls and the dogs helped, but I think what I really need is an overnight trek in the mountains. Too bad that is just not in the cards right…

I had to do a test at the hospital that took up most of my afternoon, so I stopped at Chili’s for a late lunch and watched part of the game that eliminated the Astros from the postseason (oh darn). Nice to have a little time for myself.
