The kids learned what a VCR is today. It took a few minutes, but they also figured out how to tune my clock radio, which my dad gave me in 1990, to their favorite station. Kids are so entertaining.
The sky was so much prettier about five minutes before I took this photo, but I was stuck driving and couldn’t get a shot of it. Seems to be the way it goes in the life of a taxi driver.
All day long I thought it was Monday. It’s definitely better thinking it’s Monday when it’s actually Friday than it is thinking it’s Friday when it’s actually Monday!
I so wanted to stop and get a proper shot of this beautiful moonrise, but there was nowhere to pull over. I had to settle for this red-light photo instead. It was really beautiful. Dang the endless driving – although I’ll admit that without it, I’d have missed this view altogether. I guess sometimes you…
Coming home from dance class, I pumped the Debbie Gibson from my open windows and completely and unabashedly owned it. Christina is a good sport.
Nice evening walk after dinner. The weather was so perfect and I got treated to this.

The clouds have finally passed on and we are treated to a(n almost) full moon. First time in two weeks that we’ve seen sun.
Robin had an amazing cheerleading practice today. It was almost two hours of solid conditioning, and it was HARD WORK. He had them doing squats while carrying their teammates on their backs. Robin kept looking up at me in disbelief, but she did it. The only thing she didn’t manage to do was a back…
Taught the last session of the latest NAMI Family to Family class tonight. It wasn’t the best series this go around. It was online and there wasn’t great participation overall, but I always appreciate when someone gets something out of it, and I think we accomplished that. I love doing it, but I’m always relieved…
I went outside to take out the recycling and saw this beautiful almost-full moon behind these dramatic wispy clouds, so I went inside to get my camera, and the moon almost immediately disappeared behind a big fat dark cloud. I did get the last few moments of its glow and the pleasure of having seen…
