My latest knitting project. I wish it was just a little bit longer. The threads keep popping out too. The yarn is very smooth and isn’t holding knots. We’ll see how many times I get to wear this one before it falls apart. Christina had dance intensives today, all day, and then we had dinner with Colleen. I definitely need something to do. I am bored!

Robin had her last tumbling practice at Brandon today. She was in a foul mood when we left the house, evidenced in part by her crying in the car when she couldn’t get her shoe on. A different person came home. She was drenched in sweat, smiling, and excited about doing layouts and a cartwheel back walkover quadruple back handspring. Or whatever it was. Christina had her tech rehearsal for this weekend’s recital. And I knitted a few rows of this sweater I started a week or so ago.

I finished this sweater a few days ago, which I started sometime in 2023. There are so many things wrong with it, but through some miracle there are enough things right with it that I can wear it and it even looks presentable. And now I’m in the weird, uncomfortable position of having nothing to work on. I do have some machine sewing to do, but I can’t do that on a weeknight after everyone goes to bed. I’m sure I’ll come up with something.

I finished this sweater today. I was worried it would be too big, but it fits pretty perfectly. I wish you could read it a little clearer, but it’s pretty cool. We had dinner with Rosina and Dion and it was a lot of fun.

I saw this dog sweater on Amazon a couple months ago that I really liked, but it wasn’t available in Pinot’s size or something, so I didn’t buy it and never saw it again. I decided I’m going to make it. I found a basic dog sweater pattern and am going to attempt to merge it with a Fair Isle pattern I designed separately. I am about 65% sure it will work. So far it still looks decent…

Coming along after a rough start. I really hope it fits, although I have a sinking feeling that it may be a little tight. I really didn’t understand the measurements in the pattern diagram. Oh well. It’ll fit somebody.
