Christina had the idea to have stadium food while we watched the first Penn State football game of the season. So we did and it was awesome! Also, today Jackson turned 13 and got a hot dog to celebrate, and we played a LOT of Scattergories. A nice Saturday.

Eating outside on the patio is always special and worth the effort. As is asparagus. Besides a nice dinner, Christina went to a birthday party, I went food shopping, I sewed until I ran out of thread, Robin had a cheer practice, and we played Uno. Not a bad day.

Today was the Festival of Courage at school. Robin has aged out of the performances, but Christina played xylophone for her grade’s musical performance. This is the seventh year we’ve celebrated the Festival of Courage and it’s just another reason to love their school. Plus there were live dragons involved.
