Not much to say about today. I went for a run this morning. Had naan pizzas for dinner. Took Christina to dance. Saw some nice tributes to John Sterling on the Yankees broadcast. Kind of a ho-hum day.

It’s only Monday and I’m already two days behind where I was on Friday. What is this garbage? However, I did receive some more goodies for my patio project and I am now even more excited about it.

I went back to therapy today after almost two years without it. I need to get a better handle on myself when it comes to parenting, and really, relationships in general. Being so wrapped up in Robin’s moods has really taken a toll on me and I’m starting to lose some of the ground I gained over the last year or so. I think I have my work cut out for me.

Felt kinda lonely tonight while the girls and Billy all disappeared to their rooms after dinner. Used the time to do the dishes, take out the trash, and prepare a special birthday surprise while watching the Yankees game. It’s been a long time since I felt kinda down… not a fan.

My days kind of slip by before I know what’s happened. Suddenly it’s 10:30pm and I don’t know what I’ve accomplished. I want to do more things I enjoy, but I don’t know what to put aside to make it happen. So we have strawberries on a Wednesday evening.

We (I) nearly forgot that Christina had a tech rehearsal at the dance studio last night. Thank goodness for phone reminders! We got there about five minutes late, but of course they were running behind. We ended up being there for almost an hour and a half, missing out on a dinner of bacon-wrapped scallops, just sitting in the parking lot waiting around for Christina’s dances. I knew we were in for a wait when I saw a whole bunch of parents tailgating in the parking lot. At least we made it.

No scheduled activities today, but I still seem to have had zero down time for myself yet again. It’s already 10pm and I still have to fold laundry from last week! Gym, church work, work work, drive to pharmacy to pick up prescription that still isn’t ready, clean kitchen from dinner two nights ago, cook dinner, eat dinner, clean up dinner, play Harry Potter with Billy and Christina, pay bills, book cheerleading competition hotels, email teachers, put kids to bed, deposit checks (at least I am depositing and not withdrawing)… Not a minute free and no end in sight. I think that laundry’s going to go another day unfolded.
