We had such a good Easter this year. So much better than last year, but having wisdom teeth removed would be better than last Easter. We crocheted, we had a water balloon fight, Robin made this bunny cake, we played a new game called Chicken Butt, and we had a delicious ham dinner made by Billy. I have the best family. We missed Colleen and her crew, but hope to see them in a few weeks for Mother’s Day. My heart is full.

Bunny is all done, wrapped, packaged, and ready to mail. I had fun making her. Also today we did some school shopping – we went to the St. Augustine outlets and bought the kids new shoes, a couple special new items of clothing, some bras, and Auntie Anne’s pretzels. And then we made fish sticks from scratch and went to see Inside Out 2, which I loved. And I think it left Robin feeling pretty validated, which is totally worth it. It was a nice Saturday.

Bunny number two is coming along slowly but surely, and I am working hard to be a good mom to my children. I hope I succeed.

I finished knitting bunny. Now blocking, stuffing, and dressing. I also spent almost four hours trying to finish up the bedroom, but still not quite there. It’s looking good, though! I also got to have lunch with Myrna, whom I haven’t seen in ages. It was a pretty full day.

When we tried to install a Ring doorbell by ourselves and shorted it out within an hour, I called an electrician to install it for us. He quoted us $915. So Billy bought a $25 part and goddamn it, we did it ourselves. So far it’s still working and the house hasn’t burned down, so I say we take the leftover $890 and have a party!

And the bunny is finished. I had a lot of fun making her. Also today Robin and I went to a cheer team pool party and Christina and I cooked dinner together. Nice weekend.

Bunny is getting close. Her dress is about halfway done and then she’ll be ready to mail. Also today we met Rosina and Dion for dinner. It’s so nice to go out with friends.

Sha’lyce requested a stuffie and I am happy to oblige. This little girl is knitting up so cute, but my fingers are numb from using the teeny tiny needles. It’s worth the pain. Now of course Robin and Christina each want one too. I’m making theirs with bigger needles.
