I completely forgot about this calla lily when I planted my garden this spring. When I saw the leaves coming up a few weeks ago, I was amazed that I hadn’t unearthed it while planting a rose literally on top of it. And tonight I was even more amazed to see that it flowered. It’s only the second time ever that we got a flower from it. I almost missed it, too, because it’s practically buried in the rose that I planted there. What a nice surprise.
